I read the article and it sounds like he deserved what he got. I get that football can lead to permanent brain injury but you can't have a guy that hates football featured in the super bowl.

I used to really like him way back in the day, like back when Letterman was still on the Late Show on NBC.

By the end of their careers, I thought they had both become insufferable grumpy old men.

I'll agree that he's become increasingly unlikable, annoying and somewhat smarmy over the last decade and has definitely given off a "holier than thou" vibe...

But Costas is about as far as fake news as you can get.
