I usually hate watching the NFL mostly because the commentators are flat out terrible.

However, Romo is funny, engaging, and pretty darn good at knowing the action on the field.

He is actually entertaining.

I know everyone loves him in the booth, but I can't stand it. I don't need the plays being called for me, and his voice when he gets excited is painful, but I know that it seems like my neighbor and I are the only ones that feel this way.

I typically watch games on mute in my home.

I heard on the radio yesterday that a WSJ journalist watched all 2000+ plays that Romo called this year.

He only made a prediction of the play 72 times.

He was right 68% of the time on those 72 plays.

Yeah KC knew. Everybody knew. Doesn't mean you can stop it.

It was either Edelman across the middle or Gronk on the edge in crunch time.

Same stuff this Sunday.

Collinsworth has been doing this awhile. Other announcers like Aikman choose not to.

He only does it on the obvious plays.

Let's see how he does this Sunday.

Madden was absolutely awesome. I don't think there will be another one like him, EVER.

I met him when I was a member of the broadcast team for CBS sports if a regional affiliate as a broadcast engineer.

He was a very nice guy to boot. The same day I met the LEGENDS Tom Landry and Tony Dorsett.

I was blessed.

This is how I feel about him (just my opinion), but he has gotten better than when he first started. I still like Troy Aikman the best. He's just the right amount of color (without talking too much) and saying things that aren't obvious or common-sense. Jason Witten is atrocious (again, in my opinion) compared to both Romo and Aikman, by the way.

I absolutely hate the Cowboys but I think Romo was awesome. I can't believe the Cowboys couldn't have put a team around him. Jerry has ruined the Cowboys.

I don't think he's said much meaningful, and I think he's usually just stated the obvious. But, one doesn't have to expect the world from their commentator.
