So many great teams

I'm not sure they had THAT many great teams. '98 comes to mind, but during most of the '70s, those teams were just really good and not great. The '75 team (Hail Mary loss) was thought of as one of the better ones, but they went 12-2 on a pathetically weak schedule. They had ONE win over a team with a winning record. Their division during that time -- Detroit, GB, and Chicago -- wasn't very good. That's one reason why I think Dallas thrived during that era. Playing the NFC East schedule -- even when those teams (e.g. Giants) weren't all that great -- was like playing in playoff games.
