He did lead the league in receiving one year in which he sat two games, had a two game stretch where he dropped 500 yards. Age wise he is still in his physical prime. I think he is worth considering.

He will mess it up again

Week 13 is an awfully long time for him to not fail another drug test.

Yea it was a joke...but I find it funny how many people say "Gordon...but Cleveland" as if he wasn't with Cleveland in 2013 with Brandon Weeden throwing to him most of those games. Not saying he's going to do anything this year. I just think the "but Cleveland" argument doesn't hold any water. I won't be picking him up until at least week 11 or 12 (if even then) if he remains on my league's waivers, depending on the makeup of my team at that point.

If you want someone good that can play before week 13, get DeDe westbrook instead.

I'm starting Dede this week because of the K. Benjamin trade, two wrs on a bye, and a league that only has a WR/TE as a flex. Even if Benjamin plays tonight he's only been in the team what two days?

I grabbed Davis already and have high hopes for him. I expect 10 targets a game for him. I'm starting him this week. I'd have him over Westbrook just because Mariota > Bortles. But I'm intrigued by Westbrook. I'm badically guaranteed a playoff spot right now so considering grabbing him just to hold him and see what happens. Just not sure who I'd drop

What am I missing with Dede? I've seen his name thrown around as a bench stash in very deep leagues, but haven't seen him mentioned anywhere as a top-10 waiver add in 10 to 12 team leagues, much less a start this week...

I get that he has talent. But he's never played a regular season NFL game. And he has Bortles throwing to him on an ultra run-first team.

I'm not knocking taking a flyer on him if you really want to. I just hadn't seen this much hype about him elsewhere, so wondering if I'm missing something...

Won the Biletnikoff last year I believe, likely becomes the Jags #1 guy, stretches the field, and had some pretty damn good preseason numbers. Bortles has to throw to someone. Probably a bit boom or bust depending on if he breaks a long one but not a bad add at all if you're solidly in the playoffs and need a spark or potential game breaker. If you're on the fence and have to drop a solid contributor with a higher floor I wouldn't do it

I'm saying he is a way more realistic add than someone who hasn't played a competitive game in three years. I'm not saying start him this week unless you're in a bind and want to roll the dice. I do like Davis as well, but figure he's not an available add and stash type of guy in most leagues.
