If you lean louisville, i'd a do moneyline. I dont like taking dogs to cover. If I'm going dog, I'm going outright. Especially on small lines. Otherwise, I middle; I take the favorite to win and then buy points on the dog. Maximizing my play on an expected close game.

degenerate moment of the year for me was USC opener vs W Michigan at home, tied at half me and some buddies hammered the SC -14 2nd half line assured they'd wake up and come dominate the rest of a game like a potential playoff team

turns out it was a terrible bet, after an SC score WM takes the kickoff to the house to tie it again mid 3rd and the panic begins, with under 5 to play WM kicks a field goal to cut the lead to 4 pretty much killing any hope of even a push as SC should just be draining clock for at most maybe a FG to go up 7, less than 1% chance of covering -14 at this point.
But then SC breaks a big 50yd run to go up 11 with 3 to play, however their scoring should be completely done now. But by the Grace of God a few plays later WM's pass is deflected in the air bobbled around then taken 40yds the other way for the biggest Christmas Miracle score ever.
I swear no one's ever seen a group of guys going more absolutely out of control nuts jumping up and down screaming throwing drinks in the air over a meaningless score at the end of a game involving a directional school, nearly got kicked out, one girl approached me annoyed about her wet shoes I just yelled in her face I'd buy her a new entire f-ing wardrobe and we're getting bottles and strippers tonight.
