Ehhh... You whiffed on value badly somewhere and my guess is that somewhere was whenever you drafted Cam. That's why your team looks a player or 2 behind a standard 12-teamer, not because 0rb doesn't work.

But then again... Whiffs on value happen when you set in on a strategy like 0rb or whatever in a snake draft.

You're RBs aren't that bad for a 0 RB strategy.

Looks like you just picked crappy WRs.

I'd drop Amendola and pick up Jamaal Williams or Marlin Mack. If they are still out there.

Ok so I'm assuming you drafted A Brown 1st round, Gronk 2nd round, L Miller 3rd round, D Adams 4th round? How the crap did you end up with Maclin and D Henry as your next best WR and RB? I've got them at #86 and 88 on my board. I'm guessing you must have taken Cam in the 5th round, which is a huge reach, but even still you should have had much better WR and RB options in the 6th. I also wouldn't have drafted L Miller in the 3rd if I'm going 0 RB (you would have had the 27th overall pick in the 3rd round so this wasn't a value pick), and certainly not Cam in the 5th if that is in fact what you did.

The issue wasn't the 0 RB strategy, it's that you drafted crappy players.

The first year I played FF (last hour addition to get to 10) I took Brady 1, and Greg Jennings 2. GJ had a good year, but Brady went down for the year in Q1 of game 1. My whole team was the suck. I played the waiver wire hard and learned as I went. Ended up making the playoffs, in the semi I lost due to a last minute swap. I would have lost the title game anyway though. It was a fun year, there are always ww gems. Now I draft well, but don't make many moves. Take some risks and just have fun with it.

That is what 0RB pretty much looks like, but to do 0RB you have to win the waiver wire acquisition game and also realize that RBs get injured, and so when that happens to many FF teams, your investment is not as much as someone who went RB-RB.

In other words, wait and see what your roster looks like in week 4 or so.
But I also agree with the Cam Newton statements.

Also, your investment in Gronk impacts things, and if he stays healthy, you will generally win there significantly.
The problem is he will probably be hurt come playoffs.

In my mind, RB 0 is about not having much invested in one or two fragile players. I agree that the investment in Gronk impacted this. As well as what seems to be a huge reach for Cam. And then I still don't understand how he didn't get better RBs and WRs in the mid rounds.

I really like this lineup.

You're absolutely stacked at WR and TE and your RBs have decent floors and nice upsides. This is more a typical 0 RB lineup.

But for God's sake drop one of those QBs. Carrying two is a wasted roster spot.

I would try to make a deal for someone like Frank Gore. Maybe for Diggs straight up? You probably should've drafted a RB when you took Diggs, IMO

My work league is PPR with 3 WR and 2 FX. 10 teams.

Here is how it turned out.

QB: Cousins
RB: Crowell, Mixon, Coleman, Rawls, Riddick, Woodhead
WR: Nelson, M Thomas, Jeffery, Hopkins, Benjamin, Lockett, J Brown
TE: Reed, Bennett

I think OP's roster has higher upside

I did this strategy on accident and really got left with a garbage team in a 10 team 1/2 PPR league

QB - Rodgers, Wentz (we start two QB's in this league)
RB - K Hunt, Ty Montgomery, R Kelly, Charles, D Foreman (thinking he steals carries from Miller as season goes on)
WR - M Evans, D Hopkins, S Watkins, M Bryant
TE - Olsen

I like it. Hunt looks to be a PPR monster and you've got enough decent depth to play matchups for your RB2. Then you're stacked at QB, WR, and solid at TE.

You're not in bad shape at all.

Only thing that scares me is if Ware comes back sooner than expected. I think I'm just nervous about the team but I'm definitely happy with my pass catchers.

All 10 team 0rb teams are going to look superior to 12 team 0rb teams. Those of you who do 10 team leagues don't realize how much of a difference it makes. It's dumb to post 12 and 10 team leagues and compare them.

I never said it didn't. I am in another league that is 12 teams and i didn't use the same strategy.

Taking a late round flier on Watson in a keeper league is a reasonable strategy. I don't know if OP's league is a keeper, but that's why I drafted him. In our league you can only keep one WW pickup, so those late rounds are critical to try and hit the lottery.

watson is a wasted roster spot in a redraft or keeper league (though he should be owned in dynasty). OP should drop him and pick up the best RB available on the wire ASAP.
