Seems like the obvious pick is Pittsburgh. I just hate taking a road team right away. Seriously considering Buffalo at home against the Jets.

Yup. Hopefully Aaron Donald stops holding out. Eitherway, the Colts aren't looking good. Rams are also at home.

I don't know if I should go back to the anti-Colts well again. On one hand, they looked atrocious. On the other, the Cards just lost DJ and didn't look good themselves. They're on the road, as well.

AZ on the road with out David Johnson? That's pretty ballsy no matter who they're playing. I'm taking Oakland this week at home. Not sure if they'll have an easier W on their schedule.

I am really tempted to save OAK for a future week and ride with Cincy tonight. They were embarrassed last week, are at home and facing a team with a rookie making his first start. HOU is missing Cushing and their starting TE.

Can anyone talk me out of this?

Yeah, that's not bad. I'm in a huge one (that I know at least some other TA'ers are in) and you are allowed 1 miss in the first 3 weeks. Usually if you can get weeks 1 and 2 correct, you can throw away the week 3 pick.

This league will have over 1500 people in it, and the prize money will be over $50K.

Seattle for me...don't love burning them early but they didn't look that good against GB. That O Line is going to cause problems against decent teams

Haha. I'm contemplating staying with Oakland because it's less risky, and I don't really see a spot to use them later. The only other game they are favored by 7 or so is the Chargers, and I don't trust them in that spot.

My league is silly. Buybacks through week 6. So I took NYJ last week and have HOU this week. It is funny watching everyone else with their serious picks to start every year and then they wonder how I win. Getting the six ****tiest teams out of the way makes things easy.

I had BUF last week and AZ this week.

Last year, a lot of our folks did that, take whoever played CLE. So this year they instituted a new rule - if a team loses three in a row, they go into a "has-been pile" and can't be used again until they've won two games. I'm going to try to rotate between CLE, SF, the Jets, and Indy as much as I can.
