Damn I see Duane Brown still didn't report today. Guess that all but makes it final that he won't play Sunday.

Does he still get a game check if he shows at the stadium Sunday and dresses out?

Ah...I hadn't checked on this thread in a while and I didn't read all the new responses.

Wonder what that even means. He doing this this out of spite? Protesting the NFL? Contemplating retirement? Health concerns?

I took it as more of protesting the NFL, but who knows. He has been so quiet and so have the Texans, that it is hard to know his motivation at this point. Wish him the best if he is done with the Texans, always been a standup guy, IMO, and a good LT.

If Brown doesn't report today or tomorrow, his 9 million for 2017 won't be guaranteed as a vested veteran.

In the event he doesn't show up, my guess is he will be traded as the Texans are already fielding calls.

Ever since Brown was injured, he has been spooked. He even has consider retirement but crushed that when he said he plans to play this year..

I see both sides but I don't see the Texans budging.

If guaranteed money was important to him he'd show up and start collecting his checks.

My guess is he wants more money and the Texans aren't budging. Trade him and try and get some picks back that we lost with Brock and Deshaun.
