It was a DECENT game by BO. Which is about all you can expect from him. Defense carried the day as usual
He was better than a 4th round rookie making his first start. Next week he has to be better than the greatest quarterback of all time on the road.

I thought he looked good yesterday.
Big Cowboy fan here, but I would love for Hou to find some way to beat the Pats. Not holding my breath, but hopefully the Hou defense will find a way to keep it close, and BO plays his best game ever.

He still had many WTF moments when he was severely overthrowing guys, throwing to no one, or throwing it way out of bounds not giving the WR a chance.
It was a good win but the Raiders had really packed it in when Carr went down.
Aaron Rodgers better be more of the concern right now. Guy is on fire for 7 games now.

Raiders were gonna be a very tough out until that sad injury to Carr, IMO. They were playing right up there with the top teams in the league. That Texan D, though - very good unit.
The Raiders handed the Texans 10 points early w/a poor punt to put the Texans in FG range & a bonehead pass by Cook that was intercepted by Clowney which gave them the ball at the 5. After that it was easy to let the D take over. But to Osweiler's credit, he didn't do anything to screw it up. It was game management very similar to what P.Manning did for the Broncos last year. Let's see how Saturday's game turns out before proclaiming Osweiler's greatness.
Watched the Hou-NE game today.
Osweiler is absolutely awful. Even when he has time to throw, he completely misses receivers. Houston won't go anywhere with him at QB.

Someone should get canned if he's under center next season. Even with that albatross contract, he has to be kicked to the curb.

Name the great QB Elway has identified thus far. Signing Manning doesn't count.
he is not an average NFL QB by any metric.
If we're measuring by height then he's well above average.
My point was there was two organizations fighting basically for the guy and offering him big money. Both look bad.

Right. It's pretty obvious that QBs are very difficult to evaluate. But if I'm a GM, there is no freaking way I draft or sign a guy with Brock's long windup. He looks like Randy Johnson throwing sliders.
Dude sucks. He is at best a back up. I don't care if John Elway offered him eleventy billion dollars. The Texans will get a replacement QB in next years draft. Maybe the rookie starts. Maybe Aszwipier.
