Looking for a remote job.
I have 6 years of Inside Sales experience in steel pipe manufacturing, for oil and gas. Made the switch to teaching Agriculture 5 years ago and with a new school and new subject I'm teaching, it's not what I want to do anymore.
Anyone know of any leads or great recruiters?

1. Remote jobs are hard to get. Basically every one has 1000+ applicants from all over the country
2. If it's a remote job, why are you concerned with looking in Houston?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean by "remote"

What type of job are you looking for?

Look on Indeed or Linkedin for remote jobs, but as someone else said, remote jobs are extremely competitive to get right now. There are literally thousands of applicants per posting for most of these roles.

A recruiter probably wouldnt be able to help you in your situation.

Aren't software companies always looking for SDRs and ISRs?

While remote job reqs do get a ton of applicants, the last couple of jobs I have hired for had maybe a few that were even worth interviewing.

This is true, but typically the more applicants a posting has, the less likely your resume/application will ever get seen. You could be the perfect fit for a job, but if it has 1000+ applicants then its likely your resume will get lost in the mix and never get reviewed.

Filtering tools for recruiters on the bigger conglomerate sites makes it easy to drop the not so desired.

Im using flexjobs.com and have gotten 3 interviews in the last 60 days. I would also look at some of the larger youtube channels like Shane Hummus for ideas on where to apply too.

Check out job boards like:

Flex Jobs

I've also found Bonnie Dilber and Austin Belcak (top voices on LinkedIn) share some great resources to help in your job search, remote or not.
