SMR Gulf Coast is seeking a candidate for a Territory Manager training program. SMR Gulf Coast is an Electrical Manufacturer's Representative organization with coverage across Texas, Eastern New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Our headquarters is based in Houston, Texas and we employ twenty-four personnel throughout our coverage area.
We provide a two year formal training program for recent college graduates during which time frequent travel to Houston headquarters is required as well as occasional travel to our manufacturer's facilities throughout the United States. Upon completion of the training program, travel is limited to occasional overnight trips within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities as a Territory Manager include marketing, business development, technical sales and support, application assistance, channel partner development and management, and project quotations and management.
Qualified candidates will have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals, general knowledge of business principles, strong written and interpersonal communication skills, and be a self-starter who is able to work proactively in a dynamic environment.
