I do not know of any, but I've seen some conversations on this board, or maybe the Business and Investing board, of guys operating a "hot shot" delivery company. Not necessarily a long haul situation, but might be worth doing some searches for those conversations and reaching out to those posters directly.

My company is looking to hire a new driver in DFW. Mainly picking up materials from vendors and delivering to jobsites or moving equipment from construction site to site. Also delivering wide load wall panels to jobsites in DFW. Flatbed 550 and up to 40' gooseneck would be the equipment used. CDL required. Starts as an hourly position. Could turn into a logistics manager position with the right applicant.
