Eagle Support Services provides fulfillment and shipping services to support the needs of the customers of its sister company Customer Impact. We are hiring a shipping clerk to join our growing team in a full-time, salaried position.

SHIPPING CLERK

As a shipping professional, you will play an integral role in shipping products in a timely manner for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team and strengthen valuable skills including organization, communication, and attention to detail. In conjunction with preparing shipping package contents for our loyal customers, you will work with supervisors who are committed to helping you find success. You will gain experience in the packaging process while documenting inventory to guarantee every ship list is fulfilled with accuracy.


  • Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries
  • Creating, maintaining, and fulfilling ship lists for various projects on a daily basis
  • Maintain the warehouse through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis
  • Research solutions for increased proficiency in shipping methods and innovative ways to protect and deliver products
  • Participate in preparing packages for delivery by prepping contents, attaching shipping labels and staging completed packages for daily pickup
  • Collaborate with colleagues to find solutions to issues that may arise with delays, damaged product, or backordered items
  • Maintain an inventory of client merchandise as well as packaging products including labels, boxes, envelopes, and packing tape
  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
  • Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
  • Handle client merchandise by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating pallet jacks for large shipments

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • College degree preferred
  • Ability to meet pressing deadlines with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior organizational and documentation skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
  • Personal accountability and integrity are paramount, as a shipping clerk is tasked with an accurate accounting of all inventory being dispatched
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs or more
  • Comfortable working both on your feet for long amounts of time and at a computer if needed

Preferred:
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with maintaining spreadsheets
  • Google Sheets experience is a plus


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Casual environment in our College Station office.
- Typical work day is M-F between the hours of 8:30 am- 5:00 pm.
