I personally know 4 of the people in this group. One is a former co-worker and in my wedding. One used to work as part of my team but moved to reduce his commute (I agreed it was a good move for his family).

Solid technical group, and a great bunch of folks. We do similar work, but slightly different sectors. However, even if they were direct competitors I wouldn't hesitate to recommend someone apply to this position if qualified.

(Disclaimer: none of them asked me for this endorsement, but if I remember one of them owes me a beer!)

Prior experience or classes taken. Doesn't hurt to apply though.
