I am looking for some information and guidance here.

I resigned my position in early February due to both health related and personal issues and worked through the end of February. During the time of the submission of my letter of resignation and the end of my work period is when it began to appear that COVID was going to have a significant impact on employment in this country.

I have been able to successfully address my health issues and have been seeking new employment. However I entire 32 year career has been in a somewhat specialized career field which has been tremendously negatively impacted by COVID to the point where there are no jobs available.

Should I be qualified to accept COVID related unemployment insurance?

Thank you.

If you're not eligible for state benefits, which you are not, then you would not be eligible for the additional federal benefit.

I Am a Critic is correct. Unfortunately you resigned right before all of this mess. If you had been laid off, fired, or furloughed you'd be eligible for benefits.
