Are they equivalent?
Does one offer you better benefits?
Will one provide a better work/life balance? (Better schedule, commute, etc)
What kind of career path, training programs, advancement plans do each offer?
Do you have a better feeling about one team over the other from the interview process?

Which Lyondell plant?
I worked for lyondell for a bit, no complaints, just wanted to get further upstream. I did a project inside Ineous Chocolate Bayou and based on that experience did not enjoy it all. Didn't get a ton of exposure though.

The BMC plant in La Porte is one of my busier customers.
They seem to have their act together.

Comment from a friend in the industry:
My company has done contract work for both locations. We had a better relationship with the Lyondell team in that location. Ineos had a lot of issues and was not enjoyable. Mind you this was years ago and the site team could've been restructured.
