I am willing to relocate.

I would recommend going to the construction science career fair. My experience was that everyone in the COSC dept had multiple offers and there were more companies hiring than we had students. If it were me, I would use that opportunity to impress. Construction companies hire from all kinds of backgrounds. You just need a strong work ethic and an interest in the field. You will work your a** off though.
