We're looking for a vibration analyst to collect vibration and mechanical data from rotating equipment, and then report those findings to our clients. We're Houston-based and have been in business for 21 years.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to plant sites to collect and analyze vibration data, and present findings and recommendations of industrial rotating equipment to customers.
  • Collect additional vibration and/or phase data when needed to troubleshoot faults, determine root cause and report findings to EnVibe Analysts.
  • Create machinery health reports based on analysis data stored.
  • Demonstrable ability with both vibration analysis theory and practical application.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Have a keen sense for problem solving. Mechanical, math and electrical aptitude are a plus.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data sufficient to write reports documenting condition of equipment pre and post service, repair or installation.
  • Proficient with vibration analysis hardware and software systems.
  • Ability to field balance rotors and laser-align machine shafts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Periodically required to work in hazardous environments (Confined Spaces, at heights, near chemical processes, in loud environments and near heavy equipment).
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Flexibility to work beyond a normal eight (8) hour day and a forty (40) hour workweek. Ability to work overtime, non-standard hours. Ability to be on call, on a rotation basis, during weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
  • Able to travel, as well as occasionally working offshore.
