Central Church of Christ Mother's Day Out and Preschool has several openings for teachers or teacher assistants for the 2018-2019 school year. Hours are Monday and Wednesday from 8:30-2:45. The positions require that the employee plan and/or implement age-appropriate lessons that include Bible stories, songs, academic skills (ABC's, counting, days of the week, etc), books, free play, and arts/crafts. Employees can bring their children (ages 2 months-5 years) with them (if classroom space is available) and receive a tuition discount. References are required, including one verifying the applicant's religious background and moral integrity. Applicants with previous teaching experience and/or training in child development will be given priority, but lack of formal teaching experience does not disqualify an applicant.
