I'm close to completing the appraisal trainee program through the Appraisal Institute and currently looking for someone who could act as my supervisor to work toward higher levels of certification, ideally beginning in June. I live in the Tyler, Texas, area.

If anyone has experience in this field and has a suggestion, please let me know.

Also of note, I'm jumping careers, so I do have "real world" experience.

You should be able to find the appraiser roster online and search your area for the appraisers who are active.
