My company works for private consulting firms that do Civil Engineering and Survey work for TxDOT and all public agencies in addition to private developers and Utilities. We're looking for folks that work in:

Transportation & Traffic
SUE & Dry Utilities Design
Land Development
Survey - RPLS & SITs

I'm working on these jobs in Houston, D/FW, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. Even have some contacts in the Permian if anyone wants to go home to Midland/Odessa.

We're 100% Aggie-owned. If we can help, we will. If we can't, we will be clear in telling you that we cannot and look to connect you with someone else that can.

Please share my info with anyone you'd like. Thanks,
Blake '09

Texas is booming for Civil Infrastructure. Unprecedented funding allocated for at least the next decade to Transportation Infrastructure and - particularly in the Houston market for obvious reasons - Flood Control is on the collective mind.

Many Civil consulting firms (and Survey shops) are looking out of state for solid professionals looking to capitalize on these trends in their intended career trajectory. Happy to talk with any Licensed Engineers and Land Surveyors (or "to be" licensed) about opportunities to move to Texas. My business partner and I (both Aggies) ultimately consider ourselves successful in a placement when the person we place becomes our Client.

Thank you,

Most recently added job openings for us are:
  • Project Surveyor (RPLS) in Houston: for a smaller civil consulting firm growing fast.
  • Drainage Engineer (P.E.) in Houston: to help a different smaller consulting firm market their Drainage services more effectively
  • Senior Water/WW Engineer (P.E.) in Houston: larger (500 - 1,000 employees) firm needs a technical expert in large-diameter line design
  • Wind Energy PM in Dallas: same consulting firm needs a Renewable Energy PM to deliver on current projects and build out their practice in North Texas
  • Land Development PMs (P.E.) - all over Houston

All job openings can be found here (http://www.civilsearchconsultants.com/jobs). Thanks!

I may have already asked on another thread, but any jobs in GIS? I have consulted with many state DOTs in the last 25 years with GIS and spatial data use for asset management, Traffic safety, Highway Performance Monitoring Systems, Bridge Inspection support, etc.
