Regional Sales Manager
Requires working remotely
Territory: Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi


Manage existing business and representative network in assigned area and secure new business with end users and Engineering Contractors in the area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Call on prospective customers to establish a working relationship and knowledge of company products and services.
2. Maintain contact with current customers to ensure satisfaction and potential new business.
3. Stays informed on all products and services of interest to current and potential customers.
4. Monitors competitive activity and informs management on a continuing basis.
5. Works closely with proposals and other departments to ensure effective coordination of activities for a timely accurate response.
6. Direct the activities of local sales representatives as it relates to company products and business objectives. 7. Develop sales plans to meet/exceed established quotas.
8. Acts as adviser in strategic and tactical management planning.
9. Provide sales forecast and report sales activities weekly
10. Attend quarterly sales meetings in USA and present Region report.
11. Participate in promotional events where prospective customers meet- conferences, trade shows, speakers' bureaus and industry relations programs.
12. Maximize penetration of all products within assigned geography.
13. Submit monthly, new construction and quotation reports as required.
14. Track projects status monthly and report on requirements for other areas.
15. Run business errands.
16. Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
17. Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
18. Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
19. Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
20. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
21. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical and Technical Environment
Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop in a normal office environment. Ability to routinely travel throughout multi-floor office and shop area, walking, climbing stairs, utilizing elevator. Normal vision and manual dexterity. Extensive travel, exposure to varying environments and cultures at the job site, changing deadlines, strict time constraints.

Required Experience
Three years related sales experience. Knowledge of hydraulics, hydraulic and/or lube oil filtration equipment, and/or maintenance/reliability of rotating equipment, preferably with previous employment at a filtration or level manufacturer or representative. Ability to handle non-routine projects and tasks independently within established standards. Complete working knowledge and use of departmental and Company policies, procedures, standards and rules; ability to interpret policies and practices in unusual situations. Thorough knowledge of a variety of oil filtration systems filtration products, systems, and processes. Successful passing of a routine motor vehicle and credit report.

Required Education
Four -year college degree minimum or equivalent experience.
