Hi All,

I am a recruiter with a hiring manager within the Flex Living division of Flex looking for to hire several inside sales representatives for a new team focused on selling solar energy and home automation solutions to residential homeowners. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of inside sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding monthly sales quotas. We are located near 183 and Oak Knoll in North Austin and this would be an ideal role for someone looking to switch positions or grow within a start up and high growth environment. The Inside Sales Specialist (Energy Consultant) will be based in Austin, Texas. This is a newly created, high impact role within Flex's Flex Living business. The Inside Sales Specialist will be an integral part of our Flex Living team that is dedicated to changing how solar energy fits into our customers' lives. Flex Living is a solar energy and home automation experience that empowers homeowners to design an energy-efficient, connected home ecosystem. This position offers a very competitive base salary plus commission.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do
  • Sell residential solar electric systems and connected home solutions
  • Conduct inbound and outbound phone, email and chat activities
  • Prospect and qualify leads
  • Conduct preliminary design evaluations remotely using online tools
  • Assist with various financing options
  • Generate proposals and quotes for customers
  • Close deals with signed contracts
  • Document all communications and activities in CRM system
  • Deliver world-class client experience and performance

Here is some of what you'll need (required)
  • 3+ years Inside Sales/Telesales experience with a track record of exceeding monthly sales goals preferred
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Proven ability to develop relationships
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Must be able to work schedules that may include evenings and weekends
  • Primarily seeking full-time, but will consider part-time

Selling Solar is very hard the economics still dont make sense.
