Agritech Research is seeking a full time Research Agronomist to join our team to serve in our Texas region based out of the College Station, TX area. This position demands independent thinking, time management, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and with a field crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for multiple research plots in their region. Responsibilities include working with our customer's representative to locate research sites and maintaining communication with cooperators and our customer throughout the year. The successful candidate will also be responsible for traveling with planting crews to install plots, managing plots for weed control, monitoring plots throughout the growing season, repairing and maintaining our research equipment, and participating in the combine operation. The Texas Agronomist will also participate in the Mid-West planting and harvest seasons.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in an Agricultural related field.
Basic farm machinery mechanical knowledge.
Ability to work 70 hour weeks from planting to harvest.
Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas, the Mississippi Delta, and the Mid-West.
Proficiency in computer skills, Word, and Excel.
Ability to obtain a commercial pesticide applicator license for multiple states within region.
Ability to obtain a Class A CDL license with air brakes. New employees are offered a 3 to 4 week CDL training class.
Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
