My kid is a Jr and has a very good SAT score and won't be taking it again. Is there any benefit to sending it to A&M (my kid won't be top 10% in HS) or other colleges now vs. waiting until when they apply?

my son made a great score as a soph and we went ahead and sent it. When he did his application, it immediately showed up in his application.
