Real question. With the new diversity score in the SAT, will TAMU use that information going forward in determining acceptance?

With a 71% acceptance rate, will have zero impact.

What is a diversity score? Instead of getting things right or wrong, I was just more diverse in my answer and that is a good thing?

You can go to the College Board site for details on the SAT Environmental Context Dashboard. A&M uses the Math and EBRW (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) scores.

We don't have a 71% acceptance rate for the main campus.

They should put it in the trash. Where you come from doesn't make you smarter or more prepared. Pretty sure once they are in school they aren't going to get a 10 point curve in every class so why do it on the SAT? You don't achieve equality by lowering the bar for some and raising it for others.
