My daughter is an 8th grader and has to select her HS endorsement and pathway this week. My question is, does A&M prefer certain endorsements and pathways over others? Are there certain endorsements and pathways that help as far as getting accepted?

For high school students in Texas, to be automatically accepted under top 10%, one of the listed criteria is to complete the new foundation plan with the Distinguished Level of Achievement. Outside of that, the important thing is to review http://admissions.tamu.edu/freshman/coursework

A&M evaluates class rank (not specifically GPA), test scores and everything else submitted with the application - outside activities, leadership, employment, the essays, etc.
