I am a mixed student half white, half Mexican and am currently a junior in high school and was wondering what my chances are for TAMU. I have a 3.97 GPA weighted and have gotten 1410 on my SAT and have yet to take my act but will later. I am poor enough to where I qualify for a lot of aid and scholarships if socioeconomics matters at all. I am very active outside of school and in school, as I volunteer very often at nonprofits as well as churches and food pantries, and even a gym for young children with disabilities. I also do a lot of in school activities such as Speech and Debate on a national level, Model UN on a state level, Leadership Council, Spanish club, ping pong club, and newspaper club. I am very good at writing essays and plan on doing one about socioeconomic and social pressures and how they have shaped my life. What are my chances?anything helps.
