Through the Science Leadership Scholars program in the College of Science, promising students like Gonzalez can attend Texas A&M.
The program provides financial and academic support to high-performing science students and gives them the chance to reach their full academic potential.
Thanks to the program Gonzales achieved his dream of attending college. During his first year, he made the Dean's List and assisted with research. He plans to continue his success as he enters his second year at Texas A&M.
