If my son wants to attend A&M, would it make sense to send his ACT score to both A&M and Blinn just in case A&M tells him he would have to start out on the Blinn team? Or, is the Blinn team process managed wholly through A&M?

Neither the ACT nor the SAT are required for admission to Blinn College. Sending his ACT scores to A&M would be sufficient. He also can review the Blinn TEAM website at http://blinnteam.tamu.edu/ for more information.
