I have been an Aggie all of my life and I strongly want to go to A&M. I got a 29 on my ACT as a sophomore and I take it again Dec. 10. I have a GPA of roughly 4.2 and I go to school in Edmond, OK. I am thinking of doing either Engineering of some kind or Astronomy. Still not sure. Business is also a viable option. Any recommendations as to what I should do moving forward? Thanks and Gig 'em.

If you can get a 30 on the ACT (with certain minimums required for math and English sections) and you're in the top quarter of your class, I think you're an auto admit. If not, you'll be a review applicant where they'll look at the whole person. Class rank, test scores, volunteer hours, leadership, extra curricular activities, etc. My son just got accepted as a review applicant. He had 27 on ACT, top 8% (we're out of state as well), and had lots of the whole person stuff. Recommend you read yhe 50 page thread at the top of this forum. Lots of good info. Good luck to you!
