Thanks to a $1.5 million gift from Valero Energy Corp., engineering students at Texas A&M will receive the much-needed space to perform larger experiments.

This gift will fund a high bay laboratory in the new Zachry Engineering Education Center and counts toward Texas A&M University's $4 billion Lead by Example campaign.



"This lab will be truly interdisciplinary, allowing students from multiple engineering fields the opportunity to participate in experiential learning and transformational research," said Dr. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of the College of Engineering.
