I will never understand how so many American twits think that Russia is the good guys and the US is the bad guys.

I know someone who think that the Soviet Union rightfully deserved Japan at the end of World War II. The same person also thinks that we should never have gotten involved in World War II at all -- that after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, we should have just backed off and let Japan have what they wanted.

He thinks that Russia could have easily defeated Germany without our assistance at all. I guess he never heard of lend-lease. Without our support in World War II, I'm not sure that Germany would not have taken the Soviet Union.

That take on Japan is something else.

He also seems to be convinced that Russia is holding back on the Ukraine and that once they decide to release their troops, they will overrun the Ukraine and win the war quickly.

And he was forecasting a quick victory for Iran over Israel. I think that was entirely based on the much greater population of Iran than that of Israel, not on anything involving military capability and training.

If and that is a HUGE "IF" this is a true story, then the dipstick is getting what he deserves.

During communism there were a handful of far-Left idiots who moved to the "workers paradise" (Soviet Union) and paid dearly for their bad choices.

A lot of crazy/hateful takes on social media, but ultimately he moved there and signed a military contract I guess, not real sure why but social media makes people crazy. Sad that Americans are sucked into this stupid war, but I am not sure he is dead, just something of a weak person.

Derek Huffman could have just moved away from Austin or any of the major cities to more rural areas of the state.
