They won't go door to door ever. The ones caught doing crimes will go back. The ones in detention centers will go back. The courts will stop this before it even starts. The military going door to door will go into the wrong house of someone not illegal and get their ass shot.

So door to door in every town in the country? If they KNOW there are illegals then go for it but full on door to door would start some crap fast.

I'm all for this but I keep thinking about the logistics of removing illegals from the USA. It's mind boggling!

First, we're talking millions folks. It will take years to remove that many. Do you fly charters to all the different countries? That is probably cheaper than the cost of the welfare burden, etc, that is placed on society, but the sheer number of flights is mind boggling.

Second, and what I really wonder about is, what if the Venezuela's won't take them back. What happens then?

My guess is they will use the military to build detention centers and military bases as logistics hubs.

My preference is to have the military set up a 500 meter buffer zone at the border so border patrol apprehensions technically occur on Mexican soil.

An Obama judge will put in a temporary injunction.

The 5th circuit will overturn it.

5th circuit (over Texas) will say it is legal. Very conservative circuit.

When 5th circuit is appealed, it will be up to SCOTUS to decide.

In the duration, the US Coast Guard is not covered by the Posse Comitatus Act.

Trump can use the Coast Guard.

Republicans in Congress can also use budget reconciliation to move a massive amount of military funding to the Coast Guard.

Trump can also use executive orders. Keep in mind that Biden tried to forgive student loans, and make everyone in the country take the vaccine using executive orders.

The Posse Comitatus Act also does not prevent red state governors like Abbott, Desantis, and Kemp from using the national guard within its home state or in an adjacent state if invited by that state's governor. A Democrat controlled federal government will no longer be there on January 20th to prevent the red state governors from enforcing the law.

Work visa programs exist. We could also reduce welfare benefits to get some workers in the fields.

The Ag industry will adapt. A lot of them are not industrializing because of cheap, illegal workers.

Democrats used that same "who's going to pick the crops" argument to bolster slavery. 150yr old arguement - who picks cotton now?

Market incentives will be created for US citizens and legal permanent residents to do these jobs.

I am hearing the same Democrats that said "who will pick the cotton?" in the 1860s now say "who will pick the crops?" in the 2020s.

I am not saying you are a Democrat. However, the Democrats have been pushing this hard in the mainstream media and on social media since Trump won.

Just saying that the Democrats line of thinking has not changed in 160 years.

You're not going to see troops running a dragnet to catch illegals.

What is highly likely is using military assets to take them back to their country of origin. Might be some other opportunities to deploy troops at the border, but transportation is where it would be most effective (and least disruptive for their mission).

This market will correct it. I think the worst thing that will happen is your legal lawn guy will quit to pick crops, and a neighborhood teen will be incentivized to mow your lawn vs a guy from Guatemala.


No one ever says it out loud, but it sounds crazy if you had to say: "thanks to biden's program, I was able team up with 12 other families to import a guy from Guatemala to mow our lawns and a maid from Columbia to clean our houses. With out his program of constant cheap labor, I would not be able to afford a maid or lawn guy once a week at normal wages. But thanks to the democrats I can. " Welcome to the new 1800s
