Even with the Puerto Rican Senator's Trump endorsement, I agree with OP's original perspective 100%.

There was absolutely no reason to have a VERY polarizing speaker/comedian like Tony Hinchcliffe at the MSG rally. None of Trump's other rallies had that crude element as a part of the equation, and they were wildly successful. No need to introduce crap like that into the equation down the home stretch. Someone made a very bad call by including him. Hopefully it won't disenfranchise too many moderates who may have been leaning Trump.

Don't be obtuse. This isn't about the MAGA crowd who will vote for Trump no matter what. This is about the moderates who are undecided or may just be leaning Trump. There are a lot of people out there who are holding their nose if they vote for Trump. A crude polarizing guy like TH will absolutely push some of those away.

But that's not really the point. The point is why have that kind of crap at a rally where you're trying to appeal to the broadest possible audience in the first place?? Just a momentary lapse in reason from what has otherwise been a very well run campaign, all things Trump considered.
