I think both candidates were true to form; I don't see this debate affecting much, except for perhaps making people more depressed than they already were.

It was bad in the sense that he should have wiped the floor with her. Overall nothing new came out. Harris did do a much better job than I thought she was capable of, regardless of the clear bias by the moderators.
But if this decides the election, it's trumps own fault. He should have easily been able to make her look stupid but he failed miserably.

Trump was running away with this election. What happened tonight is that he failed to put the nail in her coffin. I don't think Kamala convinced ANYONE that she's a good candidate. But Trump could have put her to bed tonight and instead allowed her to linger like a bad cold.

She said basically nothing, and pretended she is not essentially the incumbent responsible for the last 4 years.
He didn't stay direct and on point and smile nice and act like he had it won.

She sounded weak and stupid to me. All she did was repeat the same meaningless talking points over and over. She quivered and failed to articulate anything.
At least you could understand Trump. And he came off as a strong personality.
The bar was low for Kamala and she barely cleared it. The 3 on 1 approach to goat Trump into rambling worked. About 5 people changed their mind either way.
