I didn't see this post, but saw it circulating on the twitters.

Governor Greg Abbott has announced that 1 million ineligible voters were removed from voter rolls.

So how many would not have been removed from the voter rolls without the new law Abbott is touting? I know from relatives dying that they already went through obituaries and death notices to remove those names.

LOL, so basically they cleaned up the roll from dead people and those who are suspended from voting for some reason.

Basically housekeeping. Out of the millions of illegal immigrant voters y'all are so worried about, they found 6,500.

And I'd bet that the majority of the 6,500 are people who registered to vote while having legal citizenship and their citizenship later ended.

I always wonder if those that are truly worried about illegal immigrants voting actually go and cast votes in general elections. I would love an explanation of how these illegal immigrants are voting without driver's licenses or ID cards. Every time I vote, they take my DL and check in against a roll that is compiled I assume by the DMV. To get my driver's license renewed I had to show proof of citizenship, which for me meant getting a certified copy of my birth certificate.

I just don't think there are that many illegal immigrants going through all that trouble just so they can go cast a vote for Kamala Harris.

Yea you're probably right

The cornpop Harris admin def didn't bring in 20MM illegals & counting not to register them to vote

It was all just a random coincidence

457,000 deceased people! If this is happening in Texas, imagine in Democrat controlled states.

Looks like my father will no longer be voting Democrat now.

He was a Republican until 2016 when he passed away. Been a solid Democrat voter ever since. Glad Abbott put an end to it.

Registrations provide opportunities for fraud or harvesting, and with the detailed data they have today, it can be very targeted to certain districts to minimize risk of exposure of anything untoward.

Texas is of limited risk to having issues here but it could flip a key district here or there where a few hundred votes might be the difference in theory.

The bigger issue isn't voter fraud, or is voter manipulation with a vast amount of misinformation AND vast amounts of biased and targeted censorship or data favoritism.

Was there any data showing how many of every other category actually had a vote cast?

I see the 1900 of 6500 illegals, but if there is nothing for the two 450,000 buckets then its likely just cleaning up old data that didn't impact anything anyway. But it is proactively fighting against future fraud.

I'll be one of those 134,000 next year, as I recently moved, and tried to use their online system to change my address, and it wouldn't do it, even though I have all my information entered correctly.

Without a full audit, how would we know? Remember, the left pushed back insanely hard and went to court to stop a full audit of the ballots.

The only "audits" I saw were those on the counts. Not on the validity of the ballots.

I inferred incorrectly. I saw the "voter history" and inferred "2020 voter history". Meaning, if they could verify the 2020 voter data then why not report findings on every other section of the analysis.

My bad...

I was curious about the "457,000 deceased people" section and was able to find that in 2022 about 250,000 people living in Texas died. Certainly, not all of them would have been registered voters, but that does help provide context to the statistic (Texas has about 18 million registered voters and a population of about 30 million). If the accusation is that Texas doesn't regularly remove dead people from the voter rolls that number really should have been much higher.

That's not what was said. Of those 6,500, 1,630 had a voting history. Some could be people that renounced their citizenship, had voted in previous elections, and there name was never removed from the voter rolls after their citizenship was renounced. And some may be people that illegally voted. But we won't really know until an investigation is done.

I'm not so much worried abt the illegals themselves voting. I'm worried abt corrupt politicians casting their votes for them.

While there may be a few who have renounced their citizenship, I suspect there are few in that category.

Remember, the copied tweet (how is that for a bulletproof citation? I saw it on Twitter!) says "...over 6,500 potential noncitizens..." This means they were removed from the rolls, not for not being a citizen, but because they had unsubstantiated information that they weren't citizens. I suspect quite a large number of that 6,500 were, in fact, citizens and the State just got it wrong.

Of course, they could check to see how many of that 1 million had been issued a ballot in the past 4 years. They won't, because it would be trivial. Of course, I would also suspect the majority of those who had been issued a ballot in the past 4 years and have had their voting rights suspended have every legal right to vote, same as you or me. Mistakes happen, you know.

One of the biggest hoaxes floated by MAGA, other than the stolen election, is that noncitizens are voting. Truly, there is no benefit for them to do so. One vote means so little and the consequences are dire (deportation) that the the consequence to benefit ratio is so high it makes no sense.

It also makes no sense, if one really believed noncitizens had a way to vote, to threaten mass deportations if you get elected. Talk about turning the consequence to benefit ratio around! Even Trump doesn't believe a significant number of noncitizens are able to vote.

So we can't get half of our citizens to vote but your argument is that folks sneaking into the country are making voting a high priority. If I snuck into a country, I am sure voting would be top of the list. I would risk my fake ID to weigh in on pot holes.

Proof? None, once again. Just more excuses because our messenger is a moron. Bring back conservatives.
