We joke about this, but maybe it's time to ask: Do we actually live in an Idiocracy?

Here's your PSA: Idiocracy the movie was a non-fiction work, taking a peak into the US. Only thing inaccurate was the date. It was set too far in the future, not post-2019 America.

The funny thing about Idiocracy was that Mike Judge said he got the idea for the movie, one day, when he was sitting in a mall food court people watching.

Man, I'm as hetero as it gets but I just don't get the "hot AOC" thing.
At best she's "Congress-hot" but that's a low bar with few exceptions.
But otherwise, yep, pure idiocracy.
I am with you. To me, she used to be pretty hot until adderall, and liberalism, ruined her. Amphetamines will take those cans away folks.Joes said:

And that was in the early 2000's. Imagine how much fatter and more braindead and pathetic people are in that same food court now. He nailed it.Hubert J. Farnsworth said:

In actuality, there are really three movies occurring at the same time, "Idiocracy", "1984", and "Brave New World".El Gallo Blanco said:
Great movie
However...our version of Idiocracy is going to be more of a nightmare and much less playful than the one portrayed in that movie.

I didn't know that, but it makes all the sense in the world.
We've been living in idiocracy our entire lives when you think about it.

This movie was far beyond its time. Hard to imagine that came out 18 years ago with little fanfare. Kind of like Office Soace in the late 90's. Trivia: Same director. Also the same director as Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill. Mike Judge gets it. He's the Rockwell of our generation.
