...to the fact that for whatever reason, Trump is going to be the nominee for the Republicans. The level of OMG look at THIS about Trump is getting old and tired at an ever increasing rate. Most of our first choice either in 2016, or now, was not Trump, but he's gonna be the guy. Haley is only there as a GOPe last stand in case something happens to keep him from being the nominee and walah, we get what the establishment wants.
Not my first choice by any means in 2016, and was really hoping DeSantis had not self destructed this time around (another topic, but it happened).
So, here we are. Trump. I did like his inauguration speech that caused the establishment to squirm like they had ants eating their privates, and he had some great policies, but was thwarted at every turn b/c not establishment. This tells us they don't have or want, what the voter does.
This leaves us on the Right with a defining moment. Are people going to sack up, hold their nose and vote against Marxism/Socialism/Real Racism, and throw in their vote for Trump, or just say "I'll not vote because I have higher standards, etc." and essentially hand over the wheels for eternity in this country to those that will do things like allow American Citizens to become collateral damage to save an open border, with all the crap that brings? Or the Woke driven assault on societal norms that have allowed our country to flourish as a shining light that has saved the world more than once?
The man is a jackass, but the world's history is ridden with leaders that have been a jackass and held evil at bay, at least for the time being for someone with a better temperament to ascend to take their place. A stop gap measure if you may.
Time for folks to sack up, hold their nose, and vote AGAINST the evil that resides within our border, not necessarily because they like Trump, but the alternative is demise on a short term scale of our country.
