but if uniparty warmonger finishes 2nd in NH and maybe SC, then we really should wait until after super-Tuesday to see who has more 2nds and more 3rds, right? Really need DeSantis to stay in and be prepared ahead of the national convention. A marxist regime establishment is not going to let Trump continue.

It's pretty simple. A marxist regime establishment is going to continue itself.

Sounds like the DeSantis camp is getting a small taste of MSM smears. Good practice in the future for how to deal with this.
It's not MSM smears...it's completely ignoring him...while constantly shining the spotlight on Trump and only Trump. They want him to be the guy because it gives them the best chance at winning again. They are masters at deception and trickery. They are doing everything in their power to ensure Trump is the guy they get to run against.

With the economy in shambles, the Fed and treasury walking a tight-rope on bonds, congressional spending out of control, inflation, people's credit and purchase power destroyed, wages unable to keep up, wars and rumors of wars, hordes of people coming across the borders, I don't think Biden has a prayer against republicans...not even if it is Trump.

We've all seen better days and we haven't seen any since democrats took charge. Everyone knows we're in a mess and the party that put us all here. If Biden wins, we can put a fork in this experiment.

Time for him to face the facts. He ran a bad campaign

And he needs to fall in line and endorse the leader.. Big Don

DNC and MSM are already in meltdown mode over Trump winning the 2024 presidential election.

And they are begging West and Kennedy to drop out or get them off the ballots in important states.

Gonna be fun to watch and exhausting

DeSantis should stick around, pry concessions, learn from this if he does indeed fail to win the nomination in the end, and come back again. Win or lose, he is a once-in-a-lifetime leader that does not need to disappear.

There's no guarantee either geriatric is healthy enough to run 10 months from now.

This isn't a prediction or anything, but it's foolish to just assume that Trump or Biden won't have a major health issue in the next 10 months.
Meh. Trump is old but shown zero signs of actual health problems. If anything, people wish he would tone down the energy, constant talking, and remembering everyone who's "wronged him"

Biden on the other hand has not looked well since he started campaigning in 2020 and has only gotten worse. He needs to be shown where to walk and struggles to get out a sentence.

Trying to neatly equate the two is a stretch at best.
Biden definitely looks worse than Trump but if you look at Trump 2024 and then Trump 2016 and can't see a significant decline both physically and mentally I don't know what to tell you. People at that age can just drop dead or certainly have a stroke or heart attack or cancer with almost no warning. The fact Biden is worse than Trump is true for sure but that's a terrible argument because neither should be anywhere near the WH at those ages.
It's a terrible argument to equate the two. Trump is in considerably better health than Biden, and seems pretty good for his age.

Just because Trump isn't our first preference doesn't mean we need to make terrible arguments just to make him look worse than he really is.

We need a lot more DeSantis types and hopefully he can be the bold leader that the squishy GOP leaders start to learn from.

Trump tearing DeSantis down is not helping that.
I understand attacks are part of politics (and always have been been) but the biggest issue I have with Trump is that he almost always attacks from the left now. In 2016, Trump pushed the conversation to the right- now he does the opposite.

Matt Walsh mentioned months ago on his podcast that he'd have no issue if Trump's attacks were pushing DeSantis or others to be more conservative or go to the right, but he hasn't done that.
While he has reason to attack pretty much everyone outside right leaning Americans who make up most of his base. I agree with this, hate the attacks on DeSantis, also wish DeSantis waited until 2028 to avoid this highly probable situation. Keep killing it in Florida and then take the throne. A part of me thinks after what we've seen they did to Trump, a few people in his campaign are likely working against him.

Go watch some videos of 2016 rallies and then watch a current one and get back to me on the "diminsihed significantly" thing. Trump has moments where you can see the same guy but it's not sustained and he still never gets the highs that he used to. He doesn't have the focus or timing. He doesn't have the patience in delivering a line.

We also don't know that Biden will even be the candidate in November, he does look terrible. If it is Trump vs someone 25 years younger? Oof. I guess we will find out though, ship has pretty much sailed.

Biden is WAY further along. I'm not "equating" the two geriatric liberals in that regard.

As for "criticizing", its not his fault but like I said about Jill, and others, pushing FJB into the presidency while obviously suffering from dementia, Trump's family is just as much to blame here. They should be trying to get him to live his last years relaxing and enjoying life.

The modern mainstream media truly are the best propagandists of all time. They've told everyone from the get-go how Trump was unstoppable and that DeSantis' campaign was a disaster and he had no charisma. They helped fuel the MAGA fire and had MAGA numpties focusing more hate on DeSantis than on biden.
Now they're at the tail end of their self-fulfilling prophecy and will celebrate when DeSantis drops out knowing that a lamp could beat Trump in the General.

They're connected. One of the obvious effects of aging into your 80's is the concept of loss of "filter". It doesn't even need to be dementia related. People just just get to the point that they verbalize what they're thinking without thinking of the fallout from what they say.

I've seen it with both my parents - neither with dementia - where they make racial or appearance based comments that are beyond cringe and are NOT something they would have said 10 years ago.

It happens to everyone. It just shouldn't happen to the President. We're watching it happen with Biden with daily gaffes and turkey-gobbling little girls' necks. To think Trump would be immune is naive.

DeSantis supporters mocking and name calling other republicans and independents for over a year certainly hasn't helped DeSantis and helped fuel the Maga fire too. Maga has turned into it us vs. the world attitude. With DeSantis supporters sounding like 2016 progressives, it's become a turn off.
Wow. Go back earlier in this very thread and get back to me about mocking. Trump likely has this thing locked up and we're still seeing spike-the-football shoe lift remarks from Trump supporters.

So any attack or criticism of Trump makes one sound like a 2016 progressive to you? Even from other Republicans who support another conservative candidate? Here's a hint for you. Us against the world only works as long as "us" is big enough to win the White House. That remains to be seen.

Translation: I didn't like having my hypocrisy pointed out to me repeatedly.

You know very well that Only-Trump MAGA gives at least as good as it gets. If you love the crudeness of Trump, that's fine, but then to whine about it when it goes the other way...
Trump attacks other politicians and figure heads.
The Desantisites on this board, Biden, Obama, HRC, talking heads attack Trump supporters. They are dumb, rednecks, bible clinging, deplorable racists.

If you can't see the difference than that is on you.

The media is doing all they can to get him to drop out. I know he had a change in campaign managers because his campaign was lagging a bit. I think it's too damned early. I don't want Haley to be a choice. I think he can at least make up ground on Haley and put her behind him.
It pains me to say this, but DeSantis will not do well in NH. I think Haley builds momentum there and then with S.C., I think DeSantis is likely done. I don't think Haley beats Trump.

Unfortunately for all of us, it's gonna be a choice between the same two geriatrics come Nov. 2024.

One is a socialist vegetable and the other is an angry narcissist who might have staff that will stumble into some decent policy decisions while Trump focuses on revenge and the Democrats try to impeach him for four years.

I pulled the lever for Biden to get rid of Trump/MAGA. That didn't work, so here were are (again).

It's like that scene from the Princess Bride. Whatever cup you choose, it's poison. DeSantis would have been so good for our Country.

Your choice was a horrible choice then and you are going to vote for Biden again. Congrats.

It is absolutely relevant. Trump will be older than Biden is now if he serves his term. He's diminished significantly the last few years. Pretty much too late now though, we will find out if Trump can defy time.
I disagree that he's diminished significantly. His bigger problem with a second term would be his mouth, not his mind.

Im not saying Trump would be immune. I'm saying his bigger problem is him speaking his mind constantly, not losing it. He's always been that way, even when younger. It just seems like a simpleton argument to put him and Biden in the same category when there's a clear and obvious difference.
