I thought BI was one of the outfits that started selling entire multipage articles so companies could blow themselves and hope everyone buys it.

Either way, if you go to Oxman's page, she goes through what BI came up with and a lot of it is "did not use quotation marks" when the citation was in a footnote. Also, she's hot.

I'd wager they're incredibly few and far between.

And why did it take an attack on his wife to convince Ackman that the Swamp of higher "academia" is actually the swamp? Just because someone didn't play nice with them? It's all so disgusting to realize the "pillars" of deep intellectual thought and capability were so ingrained in an incestuous orgy to enrich themselves.

Wife's friend is a MIT grad and he begrudgingly claims it when pressed. Why? He hates himself for once adoring those self-righteous dickwads to the point of sacrificing so much to be admitted to their "group".

These are interesting times indeed. If you poke the wrong bear it might not work out so well for you. Hat's off to this rich guy for kickin some ass and taking names. I had lost all respect for Bill Ackman when he went on CNBC and gave a paranoid fear of Covid when it was originally spreading, and then learning his hedge fund raked in a ton of profits off the market reacting to said interview. That said, he has regained my respect for his response to Harvard and other Ivy League institutions for their anti-Semitism. He's one of the whales of Wall Street and he created a group of other whales that have pledged to never hire any of the pro-palestinian protestors at their firms. He's severely crippled their opportunities in the financial sector and punished them for their actions.

I figured there would be an AI war over plagiarism and copyright coming and it could be done and escalated quite rapidly. And of course, the irony is that AI functions by accumulating the information generated by others, and likely much of the code across different platforms will be remarkably alike.

Pretty soon, before publishing, an automated self check by a standardize AI might find and automatically apply attributions. Some works will then become conglomerations of previous ideas and statements but that's where we are headed.

This guy had years upon years to call out the shenanigans he is now. Only reason he's become so "bold" is because they went after his wife. That's literally the only reason. Otherwise he would have kept quiet about all this nonsense just like he had before.

He's getting a small taste of the DNC treatment, that Trump is getting in waves.

They'll do the same thing to any R candidate, and this is a good example of how quickly the winds can shift.

Who cares why he's doing it now versus earlier. History is littered with response by previously uninterested parties who suddenly become the personification of vengeance when their family was attacked or they personally were attacked. People want to be left alone and some of those people react unkindly when you start **** with them.



The bottom line is that his personal campaign against the education system is right and just and long overdue. Read the first part of that last thesis he wrote on how utterly impactful the HES is and it's impact on this country. And since he's uber wealthy he's going to have immediate impact in getting the ball rolling on it.
