Why? I thought A&M was a woke lib school. Don't they align well together?

Oh barf. Why tf does it have to be all zoomed in on the dude's chest hairs like that.

If we went back just 2 decades, and told people this is what addidas would be doing to sell women's swimsuits in 2023...we'd probably get a contract/agent for a comedy tour, because nobody would belive that.

You do know that Adidas is German, right?

It's very difficult but I do try by avoiding Target, Kohls and products like Coca-Cola etc.

Yikes at some of the suggestions listed. I suppose everyone can't be fashionable. I can't imagine our Athletes posted up in some of these brands.

You can't escape it. Adidas owns Reebok. Nike is just as bad or worse. They also own Air Jordan. UA forced employees to watch anti-white videos a few years ago. Fila and Puma donated to social justice BS after George Floyd.

Are we going to be outfitted by Keds? BCG (Academy)?

Wait…Adidas only sells and markets their products in Germany?

Safe to assume they don't have any stores, workers, or offices here as well since they are a "German" company?

Dude, what the hell? Why is F16 talking about this? So weird…

This message board should only stick to discussing companies that push radical, unscientific principles that are both fully American owned and only do business here.

It's not like this company is the official A&M athletics partner when it comes to branding and clothing or anything…never change F16…never change.

Unfortunately, UA's products have taken a serious dump over the last decade. Cost cutting measures have moved some of their stuff into pure junk category. For example -- their shirts. Totally unwearable. They used to have the best, by far, athletic shirts on the market. Heck, it wasn't even close. I still buy their shorts, but I hate how they do logos. Their shoes, while not a joke, don't hold up to serious wear.

UA had the contract to supply D1 and by extension, all college football officials uniforms, including shirts, hats, pants, and shoes. This was in the early 2010s. I don't think they actually made anything themselves (just stuck logos on stuff), but the quality of their products in this area was hit or miss. About 3 or 4 years ago, Smitty, a company that has been making those same products for many years but doesn't have a name outside of that (very) small business beat them out. Now, one might argue UA quit "wasting" their time with that stuff but their logo was all over TV on Saturdays. Poor marketing decision at the very least.

UA isn't a well run company. UA needs a new board, a new CEO, and needs to buy a shoe company like New Balance, as well as a good factory somewhere like Bangladesh or Vietnam to make better quality products.

The black needs to go away, but the absence of the bevel is pretty damned sweet.
Always thought we had one of the worst Starter jackets because of exactly this. I always rocked it, but thought it could have looked much better.

On the back of the t shirts, yeah. The polo I'm wearing now has a logo that's smaller than a Nike swoosh or Under Armour logo.

So what's the issue? Why would you wear Aggie stuff

This hasn't been my experience at all with their golf apparel. Maybe not VV or Johnnie-O, but very solid and they don't charge $100 for a shirt. I also like my current pair of UA shoes, but I suppose I've had better.

Their style, in my opinion, is easily the best of the brands that partner with universities.

Shocker.

Adidas' controversial LGBTQ+ advocacy campaign did "more harm than good" for the brand's image and failed at their of advocating for the pride community, a branding expert told Fox News…

…This ad ended up hurting the company said Sterling Consulting and Marketing Group President Karen Tiber Leland.

"I think the way this was done hurt Adidas brand," Leland said. "It became about the way they did it, not about what they were trying to support."…
Quote:

"I think Adidas just threw a bunch of different things together and voila, there's your ad," Leland said. "But I don't know that they really took the time to think, what is the essence of the message we're trying to communicate here and how is what we're putting out reflecting that message or not?"

The branding expert said whether companies take a stand on social issues or not, corporations have to accept they can't please everyone. But at the same time, corporations are failing to think of their entire client base and how to implant smart strategies to address those social issues, Leland said
