No, your blanket statement that heart disease was the number 1 cause of death was intended to be misleading in the context of this thread. Of course natural heart disease deaths are going to far outnumber vaxed related deaths, but that doesn't mean that vax deaths should be trivialized, which is what you are attempting to do.
ETA: Also, look at the numbers. The VAST majority of heart disease deaths are over 65. The number of young people dying from heart disease is extremely rare even when it comes in 3 or 4th place behind suicides, accidents, etc.

all this, to me, just reiterates that the government should not mandate health treatments. Each person should take the risks of doing nothing versus taking a vaccine into consideration under consult with their physician. I have no issue with pharma rushing to get a vaccine out because the reality is it probably saved a lot of lives, while at the same time pharma and governments pushing everyone from newborns to elderly to get it, or outright mandating it to participate in society was massive overreach. Provide the treatments and let the individual decide what risk is the best one to take. That used to be called freedom.

Both sides of this argument need to shut the hell up until they have some evidence. It does not change a single thing to devolve this into an argument about vaccines so that you can say "I told you so" if your side ends up being correct in this specific case.
As someone who is unvaccinated, highly against "vaccines," and watched what happened, I have absolutely no idea what caused his heart to stop. Neither do you. Commotio cordis makes sense based on my limited knowledge. However, nobody will know until definitive test results are released. Just pray for the guy and wait for news.

there's a prevailing opinion right now on this forum that any and all heart related deaths are caused by the vaccine. the point remains that of natural causes heart disease is number one or number two for basically all ages past childhood, and has been for a long time. the assumption that every heart related death is from the vaccine is ridiculous.
I agree that young people dying from heart disease is rare. The fact remains young people dying from any natural cause is rare, but heart disease and cancer are basically the reasons young people die.
So here's the real question: if heart disease deaths are extremely rare, how rare are "vax deaths"? You haven't given any numbers. how many is it?

I do not know a single person who died from Covid. Not 1.
My daughter had one friend die due to vax complications at age 23.
I've had 20+ co-workers complain about their reaction to the vax and miss multiple days of work per shot + boosters.
I'm open to the idea that they were faking it and this might have just been an excuse to shirk work, it has been a very trendy topic in our workgroup discussions for the past 2 years.
I've had several friends lose jobs due to the vax bandwagon and I have had to work overtime to pickup the pieces for customers in the healthcare field who fired their unvaxxed workers in 2021.
I've had 4 people in my circle under the age of 50, commit suicide since Covid started.
I've had 3 vaxxed friends in otherwise "normal" health, under the age of 50, "pass away" during the past year.
All of this to say that I wouldn't put too much faith in the vaccine and even less in the government's Covid response.
Funny story, since I'm Puerto Rican and listen to a fair amount of Reggaeton, I get served online ads in Spanish pushing Californians to get the vax and stay up to date on their boosters. Curiously, I'm not seeing those same ads in English. I guess the government knows who they still have a chance of controlling and ignoring the facts.
