I've owned BMWs, Still have my '72 3.0cs, #1 son has an e30, #3 son has a '74 2002 and I owned an X5 (most unreliable, worse than my current '14 F-Type S V8, way worse). Pre '90s BMW are very serviceable.Teslag said:Kozmozag said:
I didn't know Teslas were luxury cars? I sat in one at a showroom, it reminded me of a vw beetle inside, except it had a iPad on the dash. The exterior design doesn't look luxury either.
The tech and performance push them into luxury territory, similar to a BMW. I've had BMW's for years before my Tesla and the interiors were never much to write home about.

Hybrids are way more convenient and make way more sense than EV's...especially if it's not about being Green. I can get gas in 5-minutes and still have extended range, low end torque, speed, on-board generator and fun driving experience with a hybrid.
Let's be honest. EV's produce a boat load of emissions just to make them, so nothing about them is "Net Zero". Biggest lie of all.
And what will eventually stall the growth of EV & maybe hybrids is the used vehicle market. Nobody wants to buy and EV or Hybrid with over 75,000 miles on it. Way too risky. I'd by a ICE V8 with 100,000 miles on it and get it to 200,000.
I currently own a hybrid and and ICE. I also know when I go to sell my hybrid at 120,000 miles is it won't hold much value. But I just wanted to buy a hybrid. I can tell you when I sell it I will be going back to ICE only vehicles.

Not a conservative he is sick and tired of media bias that clearly has affected reporting on politics which is not the case this day and age. He is not a staunch conservative just a defender of free speech.AggieCo2023 said:Tesla stock is now down 52% since Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter in April, losing over half a trillion dollars in market valuation.

In just the six and a half weeks since Musk took over Twitter on October 28, Tesla stock is down 31%, losing $225 billion in value. pic.twitter.com/W1ukdbpkte
Whatever one may think of Elon and his new conservative politics, it is an extremely questionable move to become a public spokesperson for right wing ideology while running an electric car and solar panel company. Liberals were probably 75% of his customers (at least) and he has completed lost them. I predict Tesla stock price will continue to plummet as Elon is clearly distracted and prioritizing Twitter.

Wow look at all of these green energy jobs that conservatives said were a myth and would never materialize
While you are at it, for the African children mining cobalt, define the concept of a 'job'.

But according to my Telsa loving friends the production emissions are the same as driving my honda for 5000 miles.Durkin Nowitzki said:
