He created an electric vehicle to save the planet, and every Republican banker wants one. The woke Twitter class isn't his target customer, they don't have money, and the Republicans and Democrats with money largely don't give a **** about his antics or motivations, it's more about keeping up with the Joneses with a sexy car.

Its just a matter of time before numerous women come out of the woodwork to accuse Elon of all sorts of heinous acts of sexual harassment. It already happened and Elon announced he would sue the women making false accusations against him and they all shut up it appears.

Why would he be in trouble? He's a moderate. People who own Teslas certainly aren't monolithic and extreme left liberals usually can't afford them. The only thing Musk may need to be concerned about is navigating the geo-politics of his business. The good thing about Elon is he doesn't care if he has 200 billion or 1 million. He's going to do what he feels is right and damn anything else. He's a rare breed.

I believe their battery production costs are lower than the other auto mfg's, however, and expect them to be able to compete consequently on price as well but I am not sure what their margins will be with precious metals costs continuing to skyrocket in the Bidenflation era.

There's more to an EV than just its looks and that's where the Tesla excels. Musk believes Tesla is more of a software company than car company and he employs the best software engineers in the world at Tesla and Space X. They are also heavily invested and well ahead of the curve in the charging networks. I am intrigued by the BMW ev's but right now I can't give up the Tesla supercharger network.
Obviously you Don't hang out in much West U or other similar areas. They buy new cars about every 5 years and what you drive says something about you. Musk antics definitely don't sit well the soccer mom crowd.Admiral Adama said:
