New HEB starting salary is $15 per hour and I think Buccee's is over $20, but haven't seen that sign in a while as not one near me...

Pretty sure this, guy / girl is not in Texas, however, so may be tough to find something equal where ever they live.

Wow. I'm pretty sure he won't be involved when we need to storm the beaches of Normandy next go around.

I would be willing to bet too, his parents are proud to see this video and mad at Starbucks as well, instead of seeking out mental help for the poor kid(and if no mental issues going on give him a severe cussing for embarassing the family).

Oh the horror indeed. I've been in a project in Ohio. Yesterday was my first day off since Sept 25th. My most recent paycheck, 14 days, was for 197.5 hrs.

Those baristas would have died.

There's actually been numerous stories written in recent years by liberal women trying to figure out where all the "men" went. They read as if they're an epiphany about the impact of radical feminism on men and society and they find themselves missing real men. It's a fascinating tangent to this insanity for sure.

My first job…6 years old working in the cotton fields in the Rio Grande Valley for my grandfather. We'd be up by 4 am to grease the cotton pickers, be out in the fields before the sun came up, be home after the sun went down. My job was to help pack the cotton trailers along with a guy from across the river who lived in my grandparents barn during the summer. Hard ass dirty work, but I loved every minute of it. 1964. Got paid $6 at the end of summer. Felt like I was in the chips!
