This guy was super chill and calm doing his job while bullets fly at his windshield!

I also noticed a lot of them did not pull over for the siren. He had to drive on the shoulder a few times. Crazy!Burdizzo said:

I assume this is trained procedure, and I like it: the cop calls "TVI" x 3 and doesn't even try to stop . It looks like an intentional pass-off so that the high-speed pursuit officer with the highest adrenaline removes himself from what follows (as well as the geometry of fire concern).aginlakeway said:

There have been amped-up cops who have tunnel vision after a chase who do dumb stuff, and letting the subsequent officers take over likely helps... unless the suspect is resigning themselves to suicide by cop as they likely did here...

Thanks sent that an $80k ride? Assuming stolen?
That cop is a BAMF. Wonder if he's been in real combat? I feel like your avg city cop would have been screaming and crying.

His mom Lisa says he ended up here in Oklahoma because he was on a wellness journey.
"He is a wonderful son, father, business owner, a master welder and he is dearly missed," said Lisa Carswell.
Troopers say Carswell caught their attention because he was wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Arizona.
However, his mom says he just stole watermelon.
"He was there on a wellness journey. Camping and being spiritual. He had been there for a bit and doing things he liked to do in his last moments. I am really upset about this."
In the dashcam video, you can see Carswell fire at officers.
Family members say he got out and began playing the bongo drums and that's when troopers shot and killed him.

Carswell's family worries he was shot because of his race, and believes the situation didn't have to end this way.
"He was for the peace, for the love, he wasn't a violent person he was very spiritual," said sister-in-law Brandy Parsons.

In March 2018, I was on a wellness journey and got pulled over by a South Dakota State Trooper for going 105 mph in a 65 mph. (that 4.8L BMW X5 hauls some serious ass)BadMoonRisin said:

If I had a nickle for every time i was on a wellness journey and accidentally ended up driving over 100Mph on the freeway, fleeing from the police, and firing my gun at them...well...
Let's just say it happens to all of us.
Been a while since I've done any EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) work, but you can absolutely out drive your siren. The longer wail patterns used when cruising do carry better but at those speeds it's likely the oncoming traffic never heard the sirens until they were already overtaking them.AgTrip said:I also noticed a lot of them did not pull over for the siren. So we have a bongo playing, skate punk, gamer, new wave crystal polishing dude with an obvious grow business. What the F is he doing shooting at cops? Flinging a hacky-sack at them? Sure. But gunplay? Not very mellow of him.Quote:
He had a love of the earth and a green thumb, growing plants and eventually starting his own business called Truliving Farm LLC. He enjoyed skateboarding, video games and collecting crystals.
