NEW DECEMBER RECORD: 193.7"

With a 24 hour official #snow total of 38.9" at the lab, we have smashed the previous record of 179" of snow in December set in 1970!

Liberals changed the narrative years ago on snow. Initially, they predicted the end of snow. When we started seeing record snow in Colorado and elsewhere, they then blamed the water evaporation caused by global warming.

It doesn't matter what occurs, it's global warming.

Shouldn't they be thankful for this? It should help fill up all their empty lakes for drinking water and farming!

In theory, they should welcome the snow pack and then the spring run off. But they are such poor planners, I'm sure the spring melt will cause massive flooding and mudslides.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

It's not global warming, it is climate change. Before the industrial revolution the climate stayed the same for millions of years.

Libs will claim it's the end of the world and ignore that the last record in 1970 lasted 51 years.

Q: How do we stop climate change?

A: The same way we can stop the wind.

What we should be spending on is preparing for the eventual fallout of climate change instead of wasting eventually trillions on something that cannot be stopped.

You would think so. We had multiple reports this summer of them running out of water and all dying so I assume they will be thankful for this.

You guys know it's not "global warming" anymore. It's a "climate crisis" that results in more freezes, low temperatures, and snowfall as well as more forest fires, high temperatures and droughts. Of course it's all man-made and reversible if the government stops industry growth, raises your taxes, and prints trillions of dollars ASAP. If you're not on board, then you're no different than the vaccine hesitant domestic terrorists- you're against science!!!

We've gotten a metric **** ton of rain here on the central coast over the past couple of weeks with even more on the way. Nice to see all the hills so green. It is certainly amusing to see all the global warming nuts twist themselves in a pretzel to explain why anything that happens with the climate/weather is due to evil white man global warming.

Was "global warming," then became "climate change" and now it's "climate crisis" because they can use the new term to cover any event.

No new reservoirs in California so that can't capture the bulk of the melt to help their drought situation.

Ah so this is where Denver's usual snow has landed. We've had 1 snow day here on the foothills. Hopefully more comes by the end of the week!

They believe, a priori, in global warming. Everything that happens is result of global warming.

Green Energy wind turbine supporters have bird and bat blood on their hands. Wind turbines have killed millions (not an exaggeration) of birds and bats. They kill hundreds of thousands of birds and bats each year. And, to be clear, cats and buildings do not kill eagles (and other birds of prey), but wind turbines do.

Why do Green Energy Leftists hate all animals that fly?

I swear people have memories akin to dogs when it comes to seasonal weather. 'OMG this winter so hot - never been like this before!' 'It's too cold, no way!' 'It must be all global warming or climate change or _________ (fill in blank with buzzword)!!!'

I'm not defending or arguing towards climate change by any means, but this is a bit of a silly post considering the current events. I'm in houston, if the forecast for the week holds true, it'll be the warmest December ever. That's not short term memory thinking it's warm, it's a fact that it's warmer than normal and even warmer than it's ever been.

For a state that is usually defended with the statement about how beautiful the weather is there, they sure do complain about the weather a lot.

And what exactly is wrong with that? And do you actually think we can "save the planet"?

I'm all for reducing emissions, but when you look across the Pacific ocean, we're just spinning our wheels compared to the emissions from China and India.

It's time to start thinking about adapting to these new weather patterns, like every species since the dawn of time.

Lol. I didn't say anything was wrong with it. I didn't say it's the hottest ever in the history of the world. I didn't say it's "global warming". I'm just stating it's dumb to state people have the memories of a dog when they state "man, this winter is really hot!" Because, in fact, in their lifetimes, this December is unusually hot, the hottest of their lifetimes.

Again, that's a fact I gave in relation to his statement. Everything else you are trying to argue are things I never stated nor do I believe.

I'm back and forth from CA Central Coast to Northern Cal. It's been non-stop raining and cold for the past 2 weeks with no sunshine in sight. When I say cold...it's 40-60s near the coast and 20-50s in Northern Cal with snow.

I can't be happier burning serious amount of firewood to keep my house at 75 degrees...and when I see my fire place roaring that spews massive amounts of CO2, it puts a nice smile on my face....

Serious question for those who are concerned with the climate change...

What is wrong with the climate change and what moral dilemma are we facing???

I believe the narrative is….global warming causes more fluctuations in weather than before….fluctuations are bad.
