No, it doesn't. People who have had the shots carry a much higher viral load then those who didn't.

The higher one's viral load, the easier it is to transmit.

There's more to transmission than just viral load. How often are vaccinated symptomatic? How long is their duration of high viral load?

Don't understand why anyone cares at this point. A lot of pride on both sides. Vaccinated bragging about being vaccinated. Unvaxed bragging that they aren't "sheep". Both sides hating the other. Really a stupid reason for divisions.
Just out of curiosity, what's a better reason for divisions?

Sports rivalries, obviously.

And maybe Mary Ann vs. Ginger.

He also had his college freshman daughter get vaxxed.

Asked him why he got vaxxed…

"Well, I just want to be safe (understandable) and also make sure I can't give it to other people (do you news, bro?!)"

No matter how much info continues to pile up, apparently some people have no clue that what he said at the end is completely made up.
Did he get vaccinated only recently?

Because when the vaccine first came out that was not known.

Intentional division of the population is a Marxist tactic. You voted for it.

not only that, but both links purport that vaccinated and unvaccinated carry similar viral loads when infected with covid, not that the vaccinated carry much higher viral loads like Rapier claims.

Happens almost daily with my wife at work. The opening small talk and joking around before the actual meeting starts is usually about COVID and it has morphed thusly:

Then: Are you vaccinated?
More recently: Which vaccine and how long have you been vaccinated?
Now: What is your antibody count?

Yes, this latest conversation happened this week. She sat there while her peers were comparing antibody counts to see who had the highest count.
The correct answer is "69!"

Online? Sure.

IRL, the only conversations that happen in public or in corporate meeting rooms is the bold. It's a peer pressure/bully/competition to out vax your peer.

The unvaccinated just want to be left alone and not talk about it.

A neighbor told me yesterday that Italy had lost a third of its population. 60 year old woman, dead serious. I just said wow and changed the subject.

This is simple, really. The vaxx'd are in the process of self eliminating from themselves from the discussion due to all types of medical problems; heart attacks, clots, strokes, severely compromised immune systems and on and on. It is not worth arguing with them, their uninformed minds (or rather conformed minds) are filled with virtue and if you have not complied you're scum. So who cares. let them blather, let them rant, maybe feel sorry if they're relatives. But, you do your thing and I will do my own well researched thing. In five years it will be last man standing and I like my odds.

Eh...I think you're wrong. I chose the get the vaccine but oppose mandates of all kinds. I think it should be an individual choice.

That said, your assertion that 80% of the population is going to suddenly drop dead is baseless and pretty ridiculous

Like I said, not worth arguing about it. You have bet your life on the government having your best interests at heart, I choose otherwise. We will see won't we.

Congrats. Looks like we're both rolling the dice with a .002% chance of bad outcome.

The difference is I'm not predicting (without evidence) that Covid will kill you in 5 years. It almost certainly won't, but neither will the vaccine.

The terrified believe it is much higher than 2%. Some think it is 10%, others 20%, and some think it is worse than Ebola.

The people in my office were disappointed when they found out I had covid and that it was not even as bad as a regular cold for me. I had very minor symptoms for 2 days and then I was fine. They all know I am unvaxxed.

They are mad as hell I don't wear a mask beyond the required places at work too. Has anyone said a word to me about it? Nope, not one word. They passive aggressively tattletale on me to my bosses though.

I am the only one who has never been confronted by anyone in the office though. The other unvaxxed have people tell them stuff all the time. The joys of looking like a monster from lifting all of the time and being a very intense person makes people afraid of me. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I work with a guy that is no doubt vaxed and he wears a mask anytime he is outside of his office. I openly shame him for it. People need to feel stupid when they make stupid choices.

Also our company puts a gold star on your badge if you're vaxed. My badge stays in my wallet.
