Some of her videos and interviews have been popping up on my Facebook feed lately, and wow! I am impressed.
The economic and political arguments she was having 40 years ago in the UK are almost identical to wha we are facing in the US today (socialism, immigration, more freedom for individual, ect…)
I do consider myself a student of US history and politics, but not so much when it comes to other countries.
Why is she not more celebrated in England or by feminists? What am I missing?
Can the older folks on this board who were around when Thatcher was in power share how she was perceived by the media at the time?
